John joined ARM as executive director in July 2018.
An Iowa native, Cunningham most recently served as program manager with the engineering firm, Snyder & Associates of Ankeny, Iowa. In that position, he managed the firm’s research and technology projects, in particular those through the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center (CP Tech Center).
Prior to that, he worked for the Iowa Concrete Paving Association and Iowa Ready Mixed Concrete Association for 18 years. A large part of his job was working on legislative and regulatory advocacy.He represented the associations to Iowa DOT, Iowa DNR, media, legislators and members of congress, city councils, and more.
In his advocacy work, John often collaborated with the Iowa Limestone Producers Association, especially on issues related to air quality, stormwater, and other environmental reporting activities. John and his wife, JaiLi, have been married for 25 years and have raised two children, Jake (23) and Jade (21). In addition to work, John enjoys spending time outdoors with his family riding horses, boating, and camping.
Technical Advocacy Director
Tumer began working for ARM in June 2016. He is originally from the Republic of Turkey, where he served as executive director of the Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association. His educational background includes a civil engineering degree from Bogazici University in Istanbul as well as a Master's and PhD in materials. Tumer lives in Minnetonka with his wife and three children.
ACI Education Coordinator
Dan holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Before coming to work for ARM as ACI education coordinator, Dan worked for Scott County, Iowa as a Project Engineer, was the Executive Director of the Concrete Paving Association of Minnesota, the Vice President of Highways for the American Concrete Paving Association, and in 2002 he started his own consulting business specializing in training and research of concrete pavements. Dan lives in Park Rapids with his wife, Debbie and has three children, Katie, Mike and Rick.
Jill was raised in Minneapolis and attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks where she was awarded a B.B.A in Airport Administration and Management. Jill has been employed by ARM since December 2004. Before joining ARM, she worked in the airline medical device industries. She and her husband live in Farmington with their two daughters.
